However, amidst the grandeur of this engineering masterpiece, a grim discovery has been made on the docks of the River Mersey – a faceless corpse. Inspector Matthew Langton, still reeling from the grief of losing his beloved wife, Sarah, finds himself thrust into the investigation of this mysterious death.
